  Steyning Church: The church at Steyning is regarded by many people as one of the finest Norman churches in the country. It replaced an earlier Saxon church, which, according to folklore was founded by St. Cuthman. |

  The Old Grammar School was founded in the early seventeenth century and is a curious mix of the Tudor and Jacobean styles of architecture. The exposed beams seen today were, for many years covered by tiles, which were removed, amid some controversy in recent times. |
